Bamko is an anti-racist watchdog association, active in the training of social workers, media advocacy and the impetus of public debate, as well as the defense of the rights of victims of racism, including Afrism (anti-black racism). It is a committee of women, mostly Afrodescendant, working for equality and racial equity through popular education actions in Brussels and Wallonia. The main activities are training, publication of articles and books, artistic realizations, organization of feminist and decolonial walks.
Mireille-Tsheusi ROBERT has been a decolonial, deracial and feminist trainer and author since 1999. After a career as an educator with vulnerable adolescents, she became president of the Bamko association.
