YOUTH ACTIVITY / Model workshop with ArchiKids: Discovering women architects in Belgium

This activity is for children ages 8 to 12 to discover women architects: first in theory, then in practice, thanks to the creation of models representing the artwork of a woman architect. Children keep their own creation at the end of the workshop.

Anaïs Gérard always wanted to be a teacher until she changed her mind and became an architect in 2010. In 2020, she cut her hours as an architect to allow her to have the time for a project she had had in mind for years: ArchiKids, helping children discover architecture. A way to reconnect with education, which she holds dear, while remaining in the field of architecture.
