Searching for women… another history of Brussels movie theaters by the guide-lecturer, historian of cinemas and author Isabel Biver

A participative guided tour aiming at identifying, documenting and valorizing the multiple roles, real as well as symbolic, of women in this history of the singular places of sociability that are the cinemas; a world, in appearance only, almost exclusively masculine. In the public space of Ixelles, the visit will also include an interior visit and a meeting with an active operator.
