Women and music in Brussels: the bicycle tour of the stages with Fanny Paquet

Guided tour
Matrimony Days 2022
14:00-17:00 Town hall Ixelles

A 15km music and bicycle tour on the theme of women and gender minorities in the music sector in Brussels. By (re)discovering different cultural places like the VK, La Vallée or the Crazy Circle, the objective of the tour is to make women artists and the places that promote them visible. Female singers, musicians, composers, singers: we will give you an earful, while discussing alternative scenes, labels, festivals, programming, etc...

Marie Noppe, art historian and designer, has been a guide for several places or projects for 5 years now: museums, houses, galleries, etc. On foot or by bike, she tells about spaces, stories, people, with an approach that is open and feminist. Marie Noppe has created this tour which will be guided, during the Matrimony Days, by Fanny Paquet. Fanny Paquet has always been passionate about the history of Brussels (geographical, literary, architectural). As a tour guide for several years, she is keen to pass on her passion for her city. Involved in feminist movements, she tries to make women visible in the history of art and the history of Brussels.
